OK, this may not mean much seeing I just learned of Dante through MvC3 but, possibily throughout the game, Dante sorta becomes himself again.. idk :l

I am not terribly worried or sad at the moment. I want to play the game first before I push judgement on all of this.
I was talking with some friends about how Dante had grown terribly stale as a storyline inducing character. He had become a slight "slave" of his own attitude and a bit of a one-trick pony with extremely cliche one-liners. Kinda like a pretty boy "Duke Nukem" version for girls.. if you know what I mean.
While the change to the world might look scary I expect a deeper and more flexible character which reeks of awesome-through-desperation, like the Dante from the literature. Some things are unnaceptable though, like the hair color, the union jack on his jacket, his infamous sword weapon and the lack of CRITICAL characters in the story (havent heard the music, but i take your word as law on that). While we cant change the game itself at this point, if we complain enough some small things might still get tweaked.

Ill be the first to slam the game to oblivion if it goes wrong but I dont mind seeing something fresh in a universe which was a bit too simplistic right now. At any rate anyone who has seen the trailer can see that there are too many changes for this not to be a temporary spinoff...they should have gone slower IMO.
Crossing my fingers that the game will still be as BADASS as always :>

Ps: Also I blame twilight for this current trend of calling any man who isnt 7 feet tall with roid muscles an emo. One would think that a person who has demonic heritage and who travels through hell daily is heavily bruised/scarred regardless of regeneration powers.

Hey dantes is my favorite character so please don't talk shit about his new YOUNGER Self I'm a huge fan of all the dmc games books and the anime seires too I love the music to so I'm sorry but I still love Dante no matter how he changes he's still badass and remember it's when he's younger and who cares about the demons looking like the silent hill or whatever this game will b kickass in the ending of this game he may grow his hair back in white and have his rebellion and eat pizza and strawberry sundays and good ol attitude back and his muscles so I'm so excited about this new game so please b respectful to the new dante

you can see a little bit of white hair on his scalp just to give you a little feel that "it's" but you know,Dante loves pizza and smokes cigarettes.......and he uses a sort of grappling hook thingy to fight, no guns, no swords.Capcom is trying to make enemies

in my opinion its not bad because it was americanized its bad because the who made just happened to be twlight fans i mean come on there are alot of awesome american game companys that coulda made dante seem just as awesome as the japan one althoght they still woulda been attacked for changeing him but this is just sad he looks gay, horrable , and retarded in ALL ways shapes and forms in my eyes this is nowhere near deservable to get the title devil may cry

at this point i am praying that ninja theory realizes there mistakes or makes a different one that isent sooooo GAY

Your music is more than good, if you make original music like ParagonX9 and Chaoz Fantasy, you can make a lot of fame. I suppose you can make a D.n'B. video game music like Chaoz Fantasy, and it will be famous.
Also, you might need to think of the size of the audio, don't make it too long, make about two half to four minutes, don't make it too short either.
My another opinion is that you can get inspiration from edge of faith(Oh yeah!) which is you start with piano, and it gets more stronger, faster, more instruments come in like a fugue, and it converts techno, drum and bass, or etc. with the same tone. And at the middle piano comes in, and drums and bass, techno or etc. again. At last end with piano and put a sound effect at the end, gunshot, that boom in edge of faith, synth sound, etc, and that would be so good.

I didnt even like nero, i saw where this was headed after the 1st devil may cry because the second one was horrible, the third one was the closest they ever had, through the 1st and 3rd dmc, they are what i miss

I understand how that feels, and personally when I saw this, I had no idea it was even DMC at first sight, but they said it was.... I was so shocked. I also was lost and had no idea that was even Dante anymore either until I heard him say it was. Perhaps when this version is complete they might hopefully keep his original look in the game as an unlockable, if even worth getting that is.
